An original Buzz Rickson's model that adapts 1945-style military chinos into shorts.

While the standard style for chino pants features split-seam (flat-felled/split) construction and diagonal pockets, versions using metal buttons (engraved with "U.S. ARMY") on the front and double-welt (double-piped) pocket openings are rare even among vintage pieces. They feature a deep rise and a relaxed, wide silhouette. While the trousers use a metal button fly, this version is modified to a zipper fly for easy wear and removal.
